Nutrition Tip of the Month
There is so much confusion about carbohydrates in the media today. Nutritionists and health organizations believe that it is not necessary to avoid carbohydrates completely. What appears to be most important in optimal health and weight management is choosing the right "type" of carbohydrate. Pasta, regular or whole wheat, is a "good" type of carbohydrate that keeps you feeling satisfied longer and is digested slower. It is also a great source of complex carbohydrates, energy, folic acid, and fiber. Try Tov-Li's delicious Pene in garlic Sauce, Penne Mediterranean, or Spaghetti, all of which are available in whole-wheat.
